CCRN to be featured at statewide water conference

Sara Ransom of Cochise County will be presenting on the Cochise Conservation and Recharge Network at a statewide water conference in Phoenix on February 1, 2019 sponsored by the University of Arizona’s Water Resources Research Center. The conference, Arizona Runs on Water: Scarcity, Challenges, and Community-based Solutions, will showcase the varied and innovative ways Arizona communities are addressing water challenges and feature a panel of Arizona legislators. Sara works in the Cochise County Attorney Office and specializes in water issues. Cochise County is one of the founding members of the CCRN. Mission

The mission of the Cochise Conservation & Recharge Network (CCRN) is to implement a regional network of land and water management projects that result in a healthy watershed, flowing San Pedro River, conservation of water resources, and a vibrant local economy.

Member Organizations

The CCRN was formed in 2015. The members are Cochise County, the City of Sierra Vista, The Nature Conservancy, Hereford Natural Resources Conservation District, the City of Bisbee, Fort Huachuca, and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.
